This installation was AWARDED FIRST PLACE for The Ned London X Kaia Restaurant’s Cherry Blossom Season. It was displayed as a seasonal offering, creating an immersive experience that perfectly aligned with the restaurant's ambiance and the cherry blossom theme.
Crafted with traditional East Asian Hanji paper, made from the mulberry tree, the installation added warmth and character while offering a seamless see-through effect. When lit from behind, the paper revealed a vibrant, textured appearance that enhanced the visual experience. This material complemented Kaia’s Asian-Pacific focus, while the use of plywood enriched the wooden ambiance, creating a cozy atmosphere that harmonized with The Ned London's historic grandeur.
