POWER OF WORDS
Installation
The work is a physical outcome response to the Power of Words: positivity vs. negativity.
An imaginative artwork based on a thought, "if the process of cause & effect of words on emotions were to be map out physically." The two artworks work as a metaphor for a VIRTUOUS and VICIOUS cycle of words.
Apple & Rice Experimentation:
It was carried on every day for 10 days by exposing the LOVE and HATE jars to POSITIVE (ASMR compliments & affirmations/classical music) and NEGATIVE (compilation of Gordon Ramsay swearing/rock music) words.
WORDS, whether spoken, heard, or thought, can affect even the most benign substances. Conversely, a human with incomparable senses can have way more impact on a single word. While good intentions affect positively, bad intentions create conditions that encourage mold and rot, respectively.
